A number of years after the tombstone was erected, Mr. Campbell died in Sepulveda, California, and was buried in the Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Tehachapi, California. Even so, the family went ahead and had the death date inscribed on the marker in the Galatia Cemetery which gives the appearance that he was buried there.
