GARY MAYNARD, 47, of Kibler died Tuesday, December 29, 1998 in his home. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church and Kibler City Council. He was an assembler for Whirlpool Corporation in Fort Smith.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 1998, in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dyer Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tara and Jamie Smith and Lori and Ryan Breeze, all of Alma; one son, Bradley Maynard of the home; his parents, Bill and Ruth Maynard of Kibler; one sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Tom Gilbert of Fort Smith; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Mary Jane Maynard of Kibler and two nephews, James and David Maynard.
Pallbearers will be Jan Akins, Jimmy Dale Bryant, Tommy Davis, Harold Gilmore, Ronnie Gilmore, Bryan Potts, Jimmy Don Smith, and A.C. Vincent.
The body may be viewed until the funeral hour.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry DuBoise, Ralph Figley, Doug Hamilton, Rusty Hampton, David and Larry Crawford, Steve Colley, Larry McCullum, D.G. (Bud) Akins, Tom Woffard, Dr. Bart Sills, Gary O'Kelly, Roger Carter (all Concord Baptist Church deacons).
The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
