(August 26, 1886 - January 22, 1963)
Celesta Cedora Weaver Rogers was the daughter of Charles 'Charlie' Thomas Weaver (1861-1897) and Mary C. Hawkins (1862-1909) of Itawamba County, Mississippi.
She was married on 03-15-1908 in Itawamba County, to Clifford Curtis Rogers (1870-1930).
They had 7 children: John Everett (my father), Charlie Curtis, Mary Rosalea Rogers Willett, Mittie Ree Rogers Hopkins, Pearl Jean Rogers Rowe, James Walter 'Pete' and Clifford Herschel.
OBIT:
Mrs. Celesta Rogers, aged 77, died Tuesday in a local rest home. She was a longtime resident of Hempstead County.
Survivors include four sons, John and Charlie Rogers of Midland, Texas, Herschel of Jal, New Mexico, and Jimmy Rogers of Houston Texas, three daughters, Mrs. Joe Willett and Mrs. James Rowe of Hope, and Mrs Harry Hopkins of Larned, Kansas; a sister Mrs. Arch Justice of Amory, Mississippi, three brothers, S.E. Weaver of Albany, Mississippi, Dexter Weaver of Fulton, Mississippi, and Curt Weaver of Red Bay, Alabama.
