Mrs. Sallie Francis Morse, 86 years old, of Dyer, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 19, 1967 in a local hospital. She was born August 16, 1880 in Crawford County and was the wife of Samuel C. Morse who died in 1947. She was a member of the Dyer Methodist church.
Survivors are a son Jeff Morse of Goodman, Mississippi; four daughters, Mrts. Bertha Stephens, Mrs. Lucille Chastain and Miss Mildred Morse, all of Dyer, and Mrs. Olva Cornish of Arvin, California; a brother, George McCabe of Mulberry; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Saturday at 2:30 p.m., at the Dyer Methodist Church with J. M. Rogers officiating. Burial was in Dyer City cemetery and was under the direction of Edwards Funeral home.
Casket bearers were Leslie Morse, Avery Morse, Richard Morse, Herschel Whitlock, Quentin Stephens and Billy Stephens.
