Mrs. Linda Mae Swadley, age 60 of Gassville passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House. Linda Mae Swadley was born September 20, 1949 in Jonesboro to J. R. and Ellen Lorene (McClanahan) Harrington. She married James Edward Swadley June 14, 1967. She was a homemaker and loved to fish for crappie.
Linda Mae is survived by 1 son, Kevin Swadley (Marlo) of Midway, 1 daughter: Melissa Swadley (Joel Bolinger) of Gassville, her mother, Lorene Parker of Gassville, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 1 sister, Virginia Burks, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, and 1 brother, Carl Lee Newcomb.
Visitation for Mrs. Swadley will be Noon – 9 PM Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hershel Conley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Buford. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
