Mrs. Ellen Lorene Parker, age 86, of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Gassville Nursing Center. Lorene Parker was born February 1, 1925 in Hepsy, Arkansas to Frank and Nancy (Davis) McClanahan.
Mrs. Ellen Lorene Parker is survived by five sisters; Martha Lee of Buffalo City, Arkansas, Nelta Becker of Conway, Missouri, Phyllis Ashley of Houston, Texas, Burnise Queen of Cotter, Arkansas, and Alice Thorn of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Jimmie White of Buford, 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, and 2 daughters.
Visitation for Mrs. Parker will be 11:00 AM until service time, Friday at Roller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Luell McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fairview Cemetery.
