Dale Knight, 52,
Dies in Illinois

Dale Knight, 52, of Pekin, Ill., a steel company employee and a veteran of World War II, died Thursday of last week at Pekin. He had resided in Illinois for the past 24 years.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fairview Methodist Church of Buford, south of Mountain Home, and interment was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the McClure Service. Officiating minister was Rev. William Womack, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Mountain Home. Pallbearers were Leo Pitchford, Hobert Pitchford, Lloyd Stancil, Joe Stancil, Billy Buchanan and Clinton Stancil.

Mr. Knight, the son of Henry Knight and the late Nancy Belle Roberts Knight, was born at Mountain Home on Nov. 8, 1913. He was an employee of Keystone Steel Mills of Pekin.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy D. Knight; and three daughters, Madelyn, Deborah, and Joy, all of Pekin; a stepson, Lee Cook; two grandchildren; his father, Henry Knight, of Route 2, Mountain Home; two brothers, Tillman of Mountain Home and Gale Knight, of Peoria, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Norma Covington and Mrs. Lovon Schuster, both of Bartonville, Ill.
