[Note: This was the original gravestone for Lisa Michele Edmonston Foster. A larger monument was placed at the grave in 2013, and this gravestone was moved to the foot of the grave as a flat marker.]
The White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, May 24, 2001:
Lisa Michele Edmonston Foster of Calico Rock, daughter of Chick and Sharon Kay Edmonston, was born May 25, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri. She died May 21, 2001 at her home. She was 30.
Mrs. Foster was united in marriage to Larry Foster November 18, 1995 in
Jordan. She received a licensed practical nursing degree from Ozarka
College. She worked as the high school nurse at Calico Rock High School. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Foster of the home; two daughters,
Maranda Edmonston and Amber Shaw of the home; one son Colten Foster of the home; parents Chick and Sharon Kay Edmonston of Pineville; two brothers, Eddie Edmonston of South Carolina and Brad Edmonston of Pineville; three stepdaughters, Akella Akins and Kayla Foster both of Lead Hill; and Amy Shaw of Mountain Home; three stepsons, Clint Foster of Lead Hill, Stephen Shaw of Gainesville, Misssouri and Chris Shaw of Alton, Missouri and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held May 26, 2001 at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers were Jerry Foster, Gary Foster, Roy Killian, Jr., Kelley
McClellan, Calvin Coy and Danny Akins. Honorary pallbearers were Jennifer Branscum, Tammy Teegarden and Ginger Lloyd.
Interment was at Pineville Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home of Calico Rock.
