VAN BUREN, Ark. – Morris Wayne Beauford, 59, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was born June 6, 1950 in Purcell, Okla., to Morris and Geraldine Beauford. He worked for 18 years at Campbell Soup in Paris, 10 years at Gerber Foods in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a Vietnam veteran, a Mason and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and two brothers, Jimmy and Paul Beauford.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Beauford; five sons, Zachary Beauford and wife, Jennifer, of Fort Wroth, Aaron Beauford of Fort Smith, Ark., Joshua Beauford of Magnolia, Ark., Travis Beauford and wife, Teresa, of Mulberry, Ark., and Drew Beauford of Fort Smith, Ark; three grandsons; one granddaughter; his father, Morris Beauford of Powderly; and two sisters, Sue Ellison and husband, Wendell, of Powderly, Virginia Corneby and husband, Vaughan, of Hurst.
