February 1, 1947 - June 26, 2004
John Dyer Steele, 57, of Buena Park, California died Saturday, June 26, 2004. He was born Jan. 2. 1947. He was the son of the late Elwood and June Dyer Steele and the grandson of the late Asa and Mary Lee Dyer.
Survivors include his guardians, Duane and Ruth Dyer Pennington of Fayetteville; other aunts and uncles are Leona Dyer Muzzall of Fullerton, Calif., Mary Dyer Myers of Van Buren, Mack Dyer of Fort Smith, and Jake and Wanda Dyer of Dyer. He is also survived by his cousins, Marcia Bertram of Fayetteville, Barbara Beebe of Farmington, Kay Newman of Grandberry, Texas, Julie Muzzall of Brea, Calif., Mary Fitting of Fort Smith, and Joel Dyer of Dyer.
A memorial service held by the family was held July 3 at the Dyer United Methodist Church with burial of ashes at the Dyer Cemetery.
Immediately following the service, the family will visit with friends in the church fellowship hall.
