Rosen Eual McCoy, 69, Rt. 1, Gentry, died Sept. 28 at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 12, 1906, in Birta, Ark., he was the son of Frank and Elizabeth Marcum McCoy, was a farmer and served as a deacon in Highfill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Bell McCoy of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lorene Rothcock, Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Lavada Ford, Bentonville; one son, Ray McCoy, Tucumcari, N.M.; two sisters, Mrs. Oad Cullins, Reed, Okla., and Mrs. Lola Niccum, Fairfield, Ill.; three brothers, John McCoy, Tucumcari, Lem McCoy, Spokane, Wash., and Leon Mccoy, Keyes, Okla.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Highfill Baptist Church, with Rev. Bill Wall and Rev. Bruce Holland officiating. Burial will be in Coffelt Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
