GENTRY — Edward "Ed" Stanley Cloyce Young, 65, of Gentry died March 11, 2004, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Paragould to Amos Aaron and Rosie Lou Eubanks Young. He moved from the Van Buren/Fort Smith area two and a half years ago where he worked for the Van Buren school system as a maintenance man and bus driver. He was a master mechanic and owned and operated Herschel's Service Station in Fort Smith. He enjoyed woodworking and model trains and cars. He grew up in the Church of Christ and attended the Mennonite Church in Gentry.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Stacy Wheeler, of the home, to whom he was married on July 2, 1993; four daughters, Evelyn Louise Jones and Prudie Rose Crossno, both of Fort Smith, Sandra Cook of Prairie Grove and Elizabeth Nevella Milor of Fresno, Calif.; one sister, Betty Lou Killion of Dallas, Texas; 10 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gentry Mennonite Church with Jack Burns and Leon Koehn officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
