Edna Fendley Simmons, age 95, of Leslie, passed away Friday, November 19th, 2010 at home. She was born June 27th, 1915 in Campbell, Arkansas to Kay and Florence (Sutterfield) Fendley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Grover Simmons, brothers, Claude, EB (Bud), CB (Bob) and Garney Fendley, sisters, Thelma Rushing, Nellie Morrison, Ethel Morrison, Grace Rogers and Sonny Kuykendall.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Lewis and husband Sam of Leslie, granddaughters, Sami Kelley and husband Dennis of Marshall, Shala Stone and husband Billy of Leslie and Shantal Fikes and husband Robbie of Leslie, great grandchildren, Colton and Brooklyn Kelley, Dustin Adams, Tanner Wade, Eli and Preston Stone and Trace and Baby Fikes, sister, Willodean Roten of Marshall, alone with numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Angora Cemetery with Bill Derickson officiating.
Pallbearers are Dennis Kelley, Billy Stone, Robbie Fikes, Ronald, Charlie and Ritchie Morrison.
