Melba Sue Graves, 51, of Crossett died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Born on February 22, 1957, to Prives Joseph and Gladys White Perot, Mrs. Graves was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Redeemer.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Ricky Graves; a daughter, Holly Graves; her mother, Gladys Perot; one sister, Cynthia Barnett and husband Don, all of Crossett; nieces, Kelly Smith, Rachel Graves, Erica Graves and Allison Cleighorn and nephews, Tony Pierce, Daniel Graves, Josh Graves, Eric Graves, Thomas Cleighorn and Craig Van Arsdel. She was preceded in death by her father, P. J. Perot and father-in-law, Fred Graves.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at the Church of the Redeemer with Jerry Grant officiating. Pallbearers were Rodney Reeves, Pete Perot, Gene Perot, Mark Hooks, Daniel Graves and Carl Dean Reynolds. Burial followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. See online guest book at www.jonesservice.com.
