BENTON - Wanda Jean Jackson, age 71, of Benton passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003. She was born to the late Amisa and Minnie Green on June 12, 1932, in Binger, Okla. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Jackson and a daughter, Janelle Crawford.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Jackson of Oklahoma and Keith Jackson of Orange, Texas; daughter, Gail Lankford of Benton; six sisters, Hazel Calahan, Dee Ella Deatherage, Viola Thomasson, Virgie King, Neva Prince all of California and Doris Parks of Texas; 17 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons, James Nichols, Michael Jackson, Mitchel Jackson, Ron Nichols, Jeremy Lankford and Randal Stane.
Funeral services, by Ashby Funeral Home, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Covenant Church with a 2 p.m. graveside service at Bee Branch Cemetery. The minister will be Rev. Pat Desort.
