Norma Roberta Pollard, 74 of Vilonia, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, June 28, 2007, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. She was a cosmetologist for over 35 years and a Home Interiors Displayer for over 25 years.
She attended Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia.
She was born April 5, 1933 to James Edgar and Millie Elizabeth (Hurley) Hill in Lubbock, TX. She was sixth of nine children.
She is survived by her husband, Hubert "Sarge" Pollard, of 55 years, 4 children, Roberta Mandarich (Nick) of Council Bluffs, IA, Steven Pollard (Stephanie) of Mayflower, Bobbie Collins (Ray) and Barbara Goff (Craig) all of Vilonia.
Nine grandchildren, Amy Mandarich of Des Moines, IA, Jayme Niles (Brian) of Princeton, MN, Tyler Mandarich (Connie) of Blair, NE, Jason Pollard of Conway, Stephanie Louise (Jason's mother) of North Little Rock, David and Robert Collins and Celeste, Katie and Cody Goff all of Vilonia; four great grandchildren, Taylor and Nikolas Niles of Princeton, MN and Carter and Bennett Mandarich of Blair, NE. one sister, Dorothy (Hill) Pollard of Alma, AR and one brother, Joe Hill (Thelma) of Rosepine, LA
Funeral Services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR with Chaplin Rufus Tallent officiating.
Interment will follow at Vilonia Cemetery.
Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Homecare of Conway.
