There is a double tombstone in the Galatia Cemetery for Sarah E. "Betty" and Delbert F. Peters. Even so, when Delbert died, he was not buried beside Sarah E. "Betty" Peters. Instead, he was buried in the Landmark Cemetery in the Landmark Community in the southern part of Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Delbert F. Peters, 88, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2005. He was born Sep 14, 1916 in Bouton, Iowa. Delbert was a member of Geyer Springs United Methodist Church, a retired plumber, and was former inspector for Arkansas Department of Health and the city of Mayflower. Her served in US Navy. During retirement he enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, family nad friends.
He is survived by his wife Fern Loftin Peters; four son, Chris Peters of Clinton, Way and Fred Peters both of San Diego, California and Ronnie Webber of Little Rock; daughter, Janice Crook of Mayflower; six step children; and a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be today at huson Funeral Home Chapel, 6400 Mablevale Pike, Little Rock, with Rev William Armstrong officiating. Burial with military honors will be Landmark Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice at Ft. Roots for their care and love.
