BENTONVILLE - Roy Short, 87, of Bentonville died May 10, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Dec. 21, 1907, at Pineville, Mo., to Andrew Jackson and Minnie Prather Short. He worked in the oil fields in Kansas for a number of years and retired from Kraft Foods in Bentonville in 1973. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 247, AF&AM, in Chase, Kan.
Survivors include one son, Don Short of Bentonville; one daughter, Diann Osborn of Neosho, Mo.; his companion, Tommy, of the home; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Dug Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Osborn officiating. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Memorials may be made to the Miller Church.
