Reverend Samuel Acie McFadden, 85 of Rudy, Arkansas entered into rest Friday, December 10, 2010 at Sparks Peachtree Palliative Care Unit in Fort Smith.
He was born in the Hobbtown community and lived most of his life in Crawford County.

He was an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Church of God for 53 years during which time he filled various capacities of ministry including serving as a member of the District Board 1963 and 1964. He held a Doctorate of Theology. He was a former Pastor and Founder of Victory Temple Pentecostal Church of God in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was a Veteran of WWII U.S. Navy, and retired from Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith.

He was preceded by death by his wife, Bessie Louise McFadden.

He is survived by four daughters, Judy Darden and husband, Mick of Rudy ; and Sandra Dyer and husband, Ray all of Rudy, ; Gaylia Richardson and husband, Curtis of Mc Rae, ; Elizabeth Witt and husband, Dave of Benton, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren and two step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Matthew and Zachary Darden, Christopher and Samuel Dyer, Sean Richardson, Jason and Joshua Stallings, Dustin Lamproe, and Kenneth Harrison.

Funeral services for Louise McFadden, 77, of Rudy, Ark, were held at 2 pm on Friday at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ark, with Revs John Davis, Billy Dunahoo, Edwina Kidd, Paul Dougan, and General Bishop Phil Redding officiating. Burial was in Morrison Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. She was born on Dec 22, 1927, in Pocola. She died on Tuesday, March 15, 2005. Survivors include her husband, Samuel Acie of the home; four daughters, Judy Louise and son-in-law Mick, Sandra Camellia and son-in-law Ray, and Elizabeth Ann, and Gaylia Diane and son-in-law Curtis; one sister, Algie Nell and brother-in-law John D; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
