The life of a wonderful woman was taken tragically on Nov. 20, 2012 in a double murder suicide. Charlotte Ann Ford (Charlie VanHagar) from Torrance, Calif., born 10/31/58, was born and raised in Conway, Ark.
She was an awesome mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, loved by all that knew her. She loved living in California, the weather, beach, sunsets and all the things she could get into in L.A. She went to the Dr. Phil Show, Dancing with the Stars, The Ellen show during the 12 days of Christmas and received over $4,000 of gifts and was a contestant on the Price is Right where she won a new car. She lived her life to the fullest!
She was greeted in heaven by God who handed her over to her father, Eldon Ford; and her younger brother, Timothy Ford. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Barney and Nancy Sublett and Jim and Lora Ford.
She leaves behind her precious daughter, Nicole Daugherty (Eric Spackman and son Alex) of Sacramento, Calif.; Her Mother, Billie Ford of Conway; Two sisters, Kathey Ford Hicks (Danny) and Janie Ford Sowell (Keith), both of Conway; Three nieces, Ashey Brooke, Haley Sowell and Ashely Stickney of Conway; Two nephews, Daniel Hicks of Little Rock and Jeremy Hicks in Conway. Six great-nieces, Ella and Ava Sowell, Jaycee- Kate Hartwick, Callie Johnston, Paisley and Piper Hicks; and one great-nephew, Ryder Stickney.
Her memorial services were held at the Golden Towers in Torrance, Calif., and Celebration of Life at Redondo Beach, Calif.
The family would like to say thank you for all the prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
