Obituary
POCAHONTAS — Clovie Marie Robinett Gates, 90, passed away Sunday May 31, 2009.
She was born, March 8, 1919, in Oregon County, Mo., to the late Richard and Margaret Robinett.
She is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Bennie Gates; two brothers Richard and Charles Robinett; three sisters Nova Crapo, Maxine Slatton and Anna Lou Ray; two sons-in-law, Larry Webber and Scott White.
She is survived by seven daughters, Mary White and Lillian Eason, both of Paragould, Anita Lowery, Donna Webster, Gail Dodd, Pam Hausman and Kim White, all of Pocahontas; two sons, Leon Gates of Mountain Home and Shane Gates of Missouri; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Robinett of Jonesboro and James Robinett of Paragould; and sister, Thelma Carlton of Olympia, Wash.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow to Sharum Cemetery with Ron Berry officiating.
Pallbearers are, Dennis White, Tim Eason, Logan Hausman, Brian Dodd, Lee Eason, Cody Grant and Carey Dalton.
Honorary pallbearers are the grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
