Dorothy Nell Beatty Broome died August 18, 2012. She was a native of Litle Rock, Arkansas for more than forty years, and a resident of Abbita Springs, Louisiana for the past 5 years.
Mrs. Broome was a volunteer at Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital in Malvern, AR. and Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. She also worked with the Hot Spring County Society as treasurer.
Mrs. Broome was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Kelcy Broome and a son Robert Beatty "Robbie" Broome.
She is survived by her daughter, Tedi K. Broome Baden of Abita Springs, Louisiana, five grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 am at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
