Ray Justus McKnight, 90 of Smithville, died Thursday May 31, 2018 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.

He was born April 17, 1928 in Imboden, Arkansas to Garland Ray & Jessie Justus McKnight. He was a merchant by trade and involved in construction. He was of Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Judy Winkler McKnight; and second wife, Katheryn Bookout McKnight.

He is survived by sons, Timothy Ray McKnight, & Johnny Bookout (Adella); daughters, Dianne McKnight Ray (Ronnie), Henryetta Bookout Tyler, Jerry Ann Bookout Winters, & Betsy Bookout Cameron (Mike); 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday June 2, 2018 at Smithville Baptist Church from 11:00AM-12:00PM.

Graveside services will follow immediately at 12:00PM in Smithville Cemetery with Brother Harold Russell officiating.

Under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
