Jhirmekeyo Santrel Pugh, 30, of Crossett died Friday, February 17, 2012, at his residence in Crossett. A lifelong resident of Crossett and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in the old Crossett Camp community, Jhirmeyeko loved singing and writing his own music and spending time on his computer.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra "Sand" Lewis and husband Lexie; his father, Billy Allen and wife Lawanda; one brother, Antrel Pugh; one sister, Ashle Allen; his maternal grandparents, Billy and Juanita Gibb; his step-grandparents, Nathan and Almeda Blake, all of Crossett; his companion, Tasha Dixon; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Odessa Whitehead-Allen.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Taylor officiating. Pallbearers are Cornelius Dawson, Rodney Hendrix, J. T. Harris, Nakia Tucker, Brad Hayes, Hayward Tatum, Jr., Bruce Wright, and J. P. Wright. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Crossett High School Class of 2001. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, from 6-8 p m. at Cromwell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the in Nimmer Cemetery. Guest book signing at www.cromwellfuneralhome.com.
