Mr. Junior L. Nicholson, age 83, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his home. He was born February 24, 1929 in Swifton, Arkansas to Lawerence and Ormae (Wilmth) Nicholson. He married Hazel (Rogers) Nicholson on September 14, 1948. He was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion General Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, and riding his John Deere tractor.
He is survived by his wife; 3 sons: Jerry (Alletta) Nicholson, Max Nicholson, and William A. (Amanda) Nicholson; 4 daughters: Wilma (Gary) Waits, Winnie (Presley) Krisell, Betty (Wayne) Lee, and Patty (Donald) Atkisson; 21 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 brothers: J.W. Nicholson, Jimmy (Margaret) Nicholson, Gene (Donna) Nicholson; 2 half brothers: Roger (Donna) Nicholson and Terry (Rhonda) Nicholson, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Virginia Nicholson; sister: Ruthel Linn; brother: Darrell Nicholson, and stepmother: Cassie Nicholson.
Visitation will be 5-8:00pm, Monday, August 13, 2012 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Clinton. Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Roller McNutt Chapel Clinton. Interment will follow at Colony Cemetery.
