Melba Jones, 56, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 in a local nursing home.

She was retired as a Sparks Hospital laundry supervisor, a member of the Dora Pentecostal Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Treva Mattingly.

Survivors are three daughters, Kassie Jones, Kimberly Jones and Cathryn Jones all of Van Buren; two sisters, Patsy Carter of Van Buren and Naoma Link of Fort Smith; two brothers, James Mattingly of Branch, Ar. and Darrell Mattingly of Rudy; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Graveside service will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Morrison Cemetery Arbor, with burial at Morrison Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Jacob Link, Richard Chronister, Anson Jones, Darrell Mattingly, Jr., Danny Jones and Michael Mattingly.
