Prairie Grove Sam Wallace Carlton, 84, resident of near Evansville, died at his home yesterday. Born March 12, 1880 at Parthenon, Ark, he had been a resident here for the past 14 years. He was a member of the Hale Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include the widow, Ida, of the home; six sons, Ray, of Grandview, Mo., Glenn, of Sutter, Calif., Harold and Vernon, both of Tulsa, Russell, of Morrow and Donald, of Evensville; five daughters, Mrs. Stella Wayman of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Clydus Sutton and Mrs. Lorene Hudspeth, both of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Colleen Parker, of Weber Falls, Okla. and Mrs. Mildred Ferrell of Stilwell, Okla., and 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hale Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Bethesda Cemetery under direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
