Odus J. Duggins, 92, of Mountain Home died Sunday (March 24, 1996) at Flippo's Nursing Home. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a heavy equipment operator. He retired in 1968. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and
the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge 225 Blue Lodge.
Born Jan. 30, 1904 at Rush, he was the son of Ewing and Laura Jones Duggins. He and the former Hazel Knight were married Jan. 16, 1927, at Buford. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1991, four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by four sons," Estel Duggins of Springfield, Mo., E.J. Duggins of Mountain Home, Buddie Duggins of Calico Rock and Garry Duggins of Sherwood; one daughter, Betty Jo Kellem of Mountain Home; two sisters, Bersie Poynter of Mountain Home and Willia Humphrey of Rea Valley; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today at Roller Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview United Methodist Church with Jeff Quick officiating. Burial will be at Fairview ·Cemetery with the Masonic Lodge leading a graveside service.
Pallbearers will be William Duggins, Dean Duggins, Don Duggins, Kris Kanatzar, John Humphrey and Luther Poynter. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Allen, Pat Flippo and Marvin Duggins.
