Son of John and Artie Bell Austin Chambers.
Born in Umpire, Arkansas & died at his home in Athens, Arkansas.

A resident of Polk and Howard Counties all of his life, he retired from Tyson Foods in 1988.

Survivors include: his second wife, Elaine Chambers of Athens; three sons John Wesley Chambers of Grannis, Douglas B Chambers of Hatfield & Daniel Scott Chambers of Athens; two daughters, Melony Cook and Lacie Cook, both of Wickes; three sisters, Mary Arnold of Shreveport, Louisiana, Edna Heying of Chandler, Arizona, and Dorothy Stuart of Nashville, Arkansas, & 15 grandchildren.
