Michael Don Fraser was born on February 2, 1942 in Fakes Chapel, Arkansas to Vernie and Jewell VanLandingham Fraser. Mike graduated from McCrory High School and entered the Navy in 1959. Mike was an aviation electronics technician and was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1963.
Mike moved to Alaska to begin his job on the D.E.W. line. There he graduated from the University of Alaska and married JoAnne Vogl. Mike moved his family to Vancouver, Washington in 1981. Mike and JoAnne were married for 30 years and had 3 children. Mike loved participating in his children's activities like scouts and after school sports. He also enjoyed working on his 10 acres in Ridgefield. Mike moved back to Arkansas in 2007 to care for his mother.
Mike is survived by his mother, Jewell Howell; and his children, Amy Wheeler; Steven and Phil Fraser; his 10 grandchildren; plus other relatives and friends.
His service was held in McCrory, AR on 11/20/2009. Mike was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by many.
