Son of Laura M. & Lewis R. Burton
*Obituary
In a brief obituary in the June 3, 1938, Issue of The Baxter Bulletin, it was stated that Harry Don Burton died at his home of diabetis. In a paragraph in the Buford Community Column in the same issue was as follows: The Buford community was shocked Saturday morning to hear that Don Burton had died the night before. He came in from work Friday noon and complained of not feeling well and went to bed. He got worse and Dr. Gray was called, but it was too late. He died before morning. He attended Buford school last winter and had many friends in the district.
(Harry Don Burton shares a double tombstone with his brother Earl R. Burton, a causality of World War II.)
