Orvil "Wayne" Parker, 73, of Rudy died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at a local nursing home. He was a retired factory worker for General Electric Co., and Army veteran and the widower of Millie Parker.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. today at Morrison Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Joyce Spearman of Fort Smith; two stepsons, William Joslin of Alma and Jimbo Joslin of Fort Smith; two sisters, Cindy Parker and Doodle Stalcup, both of Broken Arrow, Okla; two brothers, Jerry Parker of London and Wesley Parker of Van Buren; eitht grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
