BIXLER, Otto C. - Accompanied by the parents, W.M. Bixler and wife, and by the widow of the deceased, the body of Otto C. Bixler arrived in Rogers Saturday from El Paso, Tex. and interment was made that afternoon in the Rogers cemetery in the family lot. Mr. Bixler was killed Monday, September 6th while driving an auto in a race at Juarez, Mexico, just across the river from El Paso. When the Mercer racer he was driving turned over Bixler was thrown from the car and his neck broken. The deceased was 29 years old. He left Rogers nearly twenty years ago with his parents who were early residents of Rogers. His grandparents, Israel Bixler and wife, are both buried here. The family is well remembered by our older citizens. W.M. Bixler is a cousin of Mrs. E.W. Homan.
