ASHWORTH, Frances - Frances, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Ashworth, died Sunday morning about three o'clock, the result of injuries received Friday night. The little girl overturned a pan of hot milk which was setting on the edge of the table, severely scalding her entire right side. The burns were quite severe and though at first serious results were not apprehended the shock to the tiny system was too great and complications set in which resulted in her death. She did not seem to suffer and passed away as quietly as though falling asleep. Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon at three o'clock and were conducted by Rev. Harris of the M.E. church. Frances was one year and thirteen days old and an unusually pretty and attractive child. She had just learned to walk and was making her first attempts at talking. Her sad and untimely death is a great blow to the family and they have the deepest sympathy of a large circle of sorrowing friends.
