BROWN, Marguerite WARDLAW - Marguerite Wardlaw Brown was born Nov. 13, 1846, married J.L. Brown August 2, 1878. To this union was born three children, all boys: William, Robert and John, all of whom survive her and were at her bedside during her last illness and at the time of her death, which occurred November 23, 1919 at the age of 73 years. The deceased was a daughter of Uncle Billie Wardlaw, one of the pioneer settlers of this section of the country. She came of a highly respected family, professed a hope in Christ while young, and lived a consistent Christian life. She had been afflicted for a number of years and during all of her affliction she was never known to be angry or to complain. Truly a good woman has been taken from our community and the family has the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. W.F. Easley.
