Rogers — Nuel C. Lynch, 78, of Rogers died Feb. 3, 2005, in Anderson, Mo. He was born July 5, 1926, in Brightwater to Harry and Fannie Ellington Lynch. He grew up in Stevens County, Kan., and moved to Rogers, where he graduated high school. He later joined the Army. He worked for Haliburton Oil Field Service for more than 38 years. He was a member of the Brightwater Methodist Church. His interests included music, woodworking and restoring antique string instruments.

Survivors include his wife, Zola of the home; four sons, Stephen Lynch and wife Gayle of St. Louis, Sam Lynch and wife Shirley of Katy, Texas, Todd Lynch and wife Terri of La Fayette, La., and James Lynch and wife Regina of Shreveport, La.; two daughters, Sheila Calix and husband David of Rogers and Lisa Dykema and husband Dan of Bentonville; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at ll a.m. today at Brightwater Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Wardlaw Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, c/o Oklahoma and Arkansas Chapter, Western Arkansas Regional Center, 320 N. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, 72901; Brightwater Methodist Church, 14108 E. Highway 62, Rogers, 72756 or a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service, Rogers.
