Billy Edward Kennedy

Billy Edward Kennedy, age 74, of Concord, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at his home. Born in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on October 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Henry and Leola Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy worked as a painter and mechanic. His religious belief was nondenominational.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Wilma Bench Kennedy of Concord; two sons, Phillip Kennedy of Camden and Billy Jack Kennedy of Valiant, Oklahoma; seven daughters, Judy Dorries of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Caren Sue Mursser of Nelson, Nebraska, Carol Witham of McKinney, Texas, Lynetta Pevehouse and Donna Thompson, both of Princeton, Texas, Karen Martin of Alexander, and Rhonda Bailey of Midway; eighteen grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Mr. Kennedy is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20, at 10:30 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Bro. Kerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Burnt Cemetery at Norfork (Baxter County).
