*WARDLAW CEMETERY

Wardlaw (Brightwater) Cemetery
Benton County,
Arkansas

Located approx. 2 miles east of Highway 62 on Sugar Creek Road. Cemetery is on a hill on the right side of the road. There is a blacktop road (driveway?) with red gate and cattle guard. Turn here, go up the hill--house ahead and left of you, cemetery on your right.

There are many other graves marked only with sandstones. Most of these were children of people living in the railroad camp, when the railroad was built through Brightwater.
