Betty Lou Schwartz Heien, 69, of passed away Sunday at her home surrounded by her family whom she dearly loved. Mrs. Heien was born January 12, 1942, in Stuttgart to Leonard and Nerine Goetz Schwartz. She was a homemaker and member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors are her husband, Herman "Sonny" Heien; two sons, Richard Heien and Wayne Heien of Stuttgart; her mother, Nerine Schwartz of Stuttgart; one brother, Bill Schwartz of McGehee; three grandchildren; April Heien of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Matthew (Chrissy) Heien and Natalie Heien of Stuttgart; and one great-granddaughter, Maddison Heien of Stuttgart.
Funeral services, officiated by Pastor David Riley, are 1 p.m., Wednesday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery.
