Mrs. Maude F. Smith, 95, lifetime resident of Winslow, died April 13 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Nov. 23, 1881, at Schaburg community, she was the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Collier Hooten, the widow of John H. Smith and the oldest living member of Winslow United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Alex Smith, Fayetteville, and Joe B. Smith, Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Ted (Helen) Davidson, Fayetteville, Mrs. Faye Price, Pea Ridge, and Mrs. Clifford Wilson, Fort Smith; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Nickols, Purdy, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church with the Rev. Pryor R. Cruce, assisted by the Rev. Marvest Lawson, officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery, Winslow, under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bradley, Jack Stockburger, Paul E. Griffith, Harold Reed, J.D. Jarnagan and Harry Reed.
