Hamburg, AR
Dan Brown, 54, of Hamburg died Sunday, February 27, 2005, at the Ashley County Medical Center. A native of Ashley County and a lifelong resident of Hamburg, he was a construction worker.
Survivors include two sons, Tyrone Brown of Hamburg and Cedric Brown of Oakland, CA; three brothers, Willie Charles Brown of Magnolia, Larry "Terry" Brown of Hamburg and Ronney M. Brown of Little Rock; and four sisters, Ruby Jewel Brown Robinson and Kattie Brown Bell of Little Rock, Sandra Faye and husband Theotis Bedford of North Little Rock and Shellia Ann and husband Charles Lawson of Crossett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hattie Mae Bunton Brown, and one sister, Versie Colbert.
Grave-side services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Johnson Memorial Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Williams, James Adams, James Tucker, Levell "Bo" Stanley, Wayne Pugh and Tinnie Downs. Arrangements were by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
