John Thomas Bloodworth of Benton died Thursday. He was 46.
He was director of public works at Hot Springs Village and a charter member of Hot Springs Village Rotary Club. He also was past president of the Arkansas Chapter of American Public Works and a member of American Waterworks Association, Arkansas Waterworks and Pollution Control Association. He was a Shriner and a member of the Air Force Reserve and River Street Church of Christ. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Bloodworth; his mother, Pearl Bloodworth of Biloxi, Miss.; and a brother, Curtis Eugene Bloodworth of Hattiesburg, Miss.
Pallbearers were Alvin Hicks, Larry Woody, Rush Hogue, Pat Timpani, Barry Husky and Bill Turner.
