George Ransom, 82 of Van Buren, Arkansas died Friday, September 18, 2009 in local hospital. He was a employee of Arkhola Sand & Gravel for 43 years, having retired in 1989, and a member of the Crossview Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Budd Ransom of the home; one son, Terry Ransom & wife Carol of Van Buren; one sister, Barbara Ballard of Cedarhill, TX; two nieces, Rhonda Williams of Cedar Hill, TX and Jean Crossland of Lancaster, TX; two great nieces, one great nephews; one grandson, Grant Ransom & wife Melanie of Yukon, OK; one expected great grandchild Maddox.
