May 12, 1939 - March 4, 2024
Doris Pearlene Franks, 84 of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on March 4, 2024, at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas.
She was born on May 12, 1939, in Houlka, MS to Charlie & Pearl (Griffin) Moss. She had lived in Lawrence County since 1967 having moved from Mississippi. She enjoyed helping her husband Bill at Franks Body Shop, she was in Order of the Eastern Star, loved her Avon collectibles & her First Free Will Baptist Church family, and was absolutely crazy about her grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Franks; and daughter, Peggy Diane McCarroll.
She is survived by her sons, Danny (Sandy) Duncan, Jeff (Cindy) Franks, Kenny (Tammy) Franks, and Rickey (Jeanine) Duncan.
Visitation will be from 12:30pm-1:30pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services start immediately following the visitation at 1:30pm with Larry Hughes officiating.
Interment will be at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge, AR under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
Pallbearers: Josh Duncan, Johnny Franks, Eric Duncan-Galvez Bravo, Blake Wade, Aqualah Henry, & David Hughes.
Honorary Pallbearers: Trey Franks, Houston Franks, Emmett Blazer, Gunner Wade, Ryker Henry, Danny Duncan, Travis Franks, Rex Franks & R.A. Wright.
