James Galen Keys
James, Galen Keys, 61, of Combs, died on Dec. 25, 2010 at the Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born March 13, 1949, at Fayetteville, the son of George and Ruby Violet Napier Keys. He was a heave equipment operator, a former employee of the Washington and Madison County Road and Bridge Departmenats and a Baptist.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Laura Keys of Elkins; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheyl and Tate Huff of Wesley; one step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Adam and Roxanne Crawford of Clinton; two step-daughters and one stepson-in-law, Donna Campbell of Elkins, and Lora and Steve Randall of Fayetteville; one sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and Jackie Young of Combs; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Bradley and Miley Huff of Rogers, and Wesley Keys of Elkins; two granddaughters, Krista Huff of Wesley, and Sarah Keys of Elkins; one aunt, Ellen Napier of Huntsville; and one nephew, Nick Young of Combs.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Dennis Donahou and the Reverend Lovena Tyson officiating. Interment will be in the
Combs Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Bud Gulledge, Matt Frost, Matt Agee, Matt Patrick, Charlie Hime and Bill Harp. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Wood, Jake Brandenburg, John Curtsinger, Greg Wheeler and Jim Holbrook. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
