Austin G. Jones, 80, of Ash Flat died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at Batesville.
Born July 20, 1929, at Miami, he was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Pearl Dugan Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Jones of the home; and seven children, Austin Jones Jr. of Crete, Ill., Willie Jones of Aurora, Ill., Darnell Jones of Southfield, Mich., Timothy Jones of Phoenix, James Jones of Boston, Mechell Day of Aurora and Forrestine Bernard of Dix Moore, Ill.
He was in the US Army and served in Korea.
