Joyce Toney Heard-McAlister of Jacksonville died on September 25, 2008. She was born on June 16, 1931 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Verner and Ruby Toney. Joyce is also preceded in death by Husbands: Virgil Heard and Leo McAlister.
She is survived by four children: Virgil J. Heard of Jacksonville, AR, David Heard of Frankfurt Germany, Brenda Carter (Troy), and Christine Broyles (Richard) of Cabot, AR.
Joyce also leaves to cherish her memory one Brother, Howard Toney, Six Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.
She is retired from Franklin Electric and a member of Marshall Road Baptist Church.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Bayou Meto Cemetery.
