James Curtis Boatright
BELL GARDENS, Calif. -- James Curtis Boatright, 69, of Bell Gardens, Calif., died April 10, 2007, at his home.
He was born March 8, 1938, in Los Angeles to James Clarence and Alma Robertson Boatright.
He owned a trophy and engraving company and was a Navy vetran.
Survivors include wife, Shirley Long Boatright; sons Donald Boatright of the Navy, stationed in Kuwait, and James Boatright of West Fork; daughters Susan Kelley of Winslow, Sharon Suckler of Wildomar, Calif., Joy Maynard of California, Joyce Smith of California; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Boatright Cemetery in Madison County, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Pastor George Boatright will officiate.

Shirley Boatright
FAYETTEVILLE -- Shirley Boatright, age 70, of Fayetteville, died March 13, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born July 11, 1941, in Okolana, N.C., to Willard Lee and Rose Zell Ragen Long.
She was retired from CCC Steel in Compton, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Boatright; and a daughters, Sharon Sickler.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Rene Kelley and husband, James, of Winslow; two sons, Donald Leroy Boatright of Ventura, Calif., and James Craig Boatright of West Fork, Ark.; a sister, Cordia Friess of Colton Point, Md.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Moore's Chapel with burial in Boatright Cemetery near Huntsville, Ark., under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel. Online condolence may be sent to the family at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
