Carl Dewayne Partee, 76, of Pasadena, Texas entered into rest on November 29, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Pasadena, Texas. Carl was born on April 29, 1936 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Logan and Kathleen Partee. Carl attended school in Aubrey, Arkansas and joined the United States Air Force in 1955, and was discharged in June of 1967. Carl was of the Baptist faith. Carl was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his mother Kathleen Partee; wife Joyce Partee; two sons, Randy Partee and wife Kay of Atlanta, Texas, Kevin Partee and wife Debi of Boise, Idaho; one daughter Rhonda Williams and husband David of Mard, Texas; four grandchildren; Justin and Alissa Partee, Jeff Partee, Matthew Williams, and Christopher Partee; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Reese Partee, and four step-children; four brothers, Curtis Partee and wife Lois of Cave City, Howard Partee and wife Donna of Marianna, Ed Partee and wife Nelda of Cabot, and Jerry Partee and wife Pam of Mountain View; three sisters, Mary Stigall and husband Max, Betty Cates and husband David, and Kay Woody and husband Joel all of Mountain View; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Logan Partee and brother Earl Partee.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, from 6-8PM at the Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012, 10:00AM at the Roller Crouch Funeral Chapel in Mountain View. Brother Don Strait is officiating. Interment will take place at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Edward Partee, Howard Partee, Jerry Partee, David Cates, Roy Green, and Corey Cates. Honorary pallbearers are Maxie Stigall, Curtis Partee, and Joel Woody
