Carolyn Baldus, age 89, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. She was born February 21, 1921, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Carl Urbani and Matilda Imboden Urbani. She was retired from Sacred Heart School, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the widow of Louis Baldus.
Survivors include her son, Mike Baldus of Nixa, Missouri; two daughters, Donna Trantina and Gaylin McChristian both of Conway; brother, Donnie Urbani; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and three children, Jim Baldus, Carol Hill and Marty Boosey.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Charles Thessing officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
